Complications do happen in surgery and might happen to any surgeon at any point of time.

Now time has come when we should be bold enough to present our own complications in the forthcoming congress.

In forthcoming 16th IAGES 2019 at Bhubaneswar , we are having a dedicated session on complications in laparoscopic & endoscopic Surgery. It’s happening for the 1st time in IAGES , so please come and watch the experts in action.

Let’s see you all speak on various complications ,the bail out strategies and the final take home message.

Secrecy about the source of the videos will be strictly maintained. It will be of 1 hour session depending on no. of participants .We may extend the session depending on the no of participation

CRITERIA:

Video submission should confine to the following areas of Interest :
1.Fore gut
2.Colorectal
3.Hernias
4.Hepato Biliary Pancreas
5.Solid Organ
7.Thoracic
8.Gynaecology
9.Urology
10.Endoscopy
11.Anything confined to MIS

Each presenter has to send their video in MPEG4 format and can upload as many videos.
Please also submit a write up/ abstract along with your videos.

CRITERIA:

The time slot for each speaker would be 6 min, which would comprise of:

1. Video of the complication ( 3 min)
2. Bail out strategies - Lap or conversion ( 2 min.)
3.Take home message - max. 3 points ( 1 min).
Total duration: 5 min

This session will have exciting prizes & winners will be adjudged by a panel of expert jury .
Videos can be submitted by uploading your it in Google Drive /Drop Box/ You Tube.
After that email its link to iages2019@gmail.com.

Please try to submit as early as possible and latest by 17th November 2018 .

Acceptance of your video will be notified on or before 30th November,2018.
