We are delighted to welcome each one of you to our prestigious upcoming 77th Annual Conference of All India Ophthalmological Society, AIOC 2019 to be held in Indore during February 2019.

The Organizing Committee is working hard to put together an educational and scientific program at AIOC 2019. It will be a scientific feast for all those who attend. More than 5500 delegates are expected to attend this conference. Eminent faculties are handpicked from India and around the world to lead the scientific journey who will share their expertise and knowledge in various areas of Ophthalmology.

Being situated in the heart of India, Indore is a fascinating city with a blend of a rich cultural and historical heritage hosting a wide range of styles of the Maratha, Mughal, Holkar and British era. Chhatris, Laal Bag Palace, Kanch Mandir are cues of its architectural excellence. Situated on one of India's oldest pilgrimage routes from Mahakaal at Ujjain on river Kshipra, to Omkareshwar on the river Narmada and onwards to Rameshwaram, Indore is embellished by several forts and rocky shrines: Mandu, Dewas, Maheshwar, Omkareshwar being the prominent ones.

Indore has excellent air connectivity with the metro cities, namely Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore also many other major cities connected in hopping flight and in the upcoming plan, many more flights begin in May and June. Regular train services connect Indore to most parts of the cities. The city is also connected to all the major and minor cities nearby, via proper roads. There are overnight bus services to and from Indore to facilitate traveling.
